MEET THE OWNER

I'm Samantha.

Besides letting me follow my artistic dreams, I've always wanted to have a job that would let me see the real happiness my work brings to other people.

It's not just about leaving a 9-to-5 job to make more money; it's also about leaving a legacy of happiness, one memory at a time.

It's important to me that this business makes other people happy, and by proxy their families happy as well. Life is too short to waste on things that don't matter. Memories should be shared, instead of being hidden on the gallery of a cell phone.

My love of preserving memories came from my own sadness and personal history. When I was a kid, our house burned down. When the dust settled, and we were rebuilding our life back, the first thing my mom did was take an assortment of pictures that survived, and she decorated our new home. This wasn't just for looks; it was her way of putting our memories back together, making our house into a gallery of things we loved and lived through. It made me understand how important it is to keep physical records of the most important events in our lives.

I became more sure of this every Christmas as I put a new square ornament on our Christmas Tree, which represented the most important events of the year. It turned into a tradition, a way to honor our journey one picture at a time.

The wedding of my sister-in-law gave me the idea for Memory Mixtape. The day was supposed to be perfect, but half of the vendors let us down. The ones that were most linked to truthfulness and happiness were the ones that were handmade or very personal. It was a moving lesson that the best way to enjoy our most important events is with genuine acts of kindness.

Memory Mixtape was created from these ideas. Its goal is to make digital photos into living memories that can be held in your hands. Our products, like personalized 2x2 magnets, custom bookmarks, and unique wedding gifts, are more than just things to buy. They are fun things that can bring memories into everyday life. We want you to enjoy, share, and most importantly, go back to the events that mean most with Memory Mixtape.
